An easy side-dish that is perfect for those who are always waking up late in the morning. Make it on a Sunday night and eat it throughout the week. Pairs well with a bowl of hot rice!

  • Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 Tablespoon
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Soy sauce - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 7 Tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Shishito peppers - 10 optional - skip if hard to find

Boil Eggs:

  • Place eggs in a large pot and cover them with water (up to 1 inch above eggs).
  • Mix vinegar and salt into the water and bring the pot up to a boil.
  • Start a timer and leave eggs in the boiling water for exactly 6 minutes.
  • Pour out the hot water and cool down the eggs under a faucet (or place in ice-bath).
  • Peel the eggs (eat one if you are hungry!)
