Instructions

Soybean Sprout Salad with Cho-Gochujang Sauce (Salad A)

  • Use equal parts lettuce, green onion and soybean sprouts.
  • Watch the video below on how to prep each of the vegetables - careful not to overcook the soybean sprouts
  • Simply mix all the ingredients in a small bowl
  • Cho-Gochujang Sauce has a spicy, sweet and tangy flavor
  • This sauce is also used frequently as a dipping sauce for seafood in Korea. Please note that sauce will be enough for a serving size of 2 people. For >3, use a Tablespoon.

Green Onion Salad and Gochujang Sauce (Salad B)

  • The Green Onion salad is arguably the most famous in Korea because of its simplicity
  • All it is is green onions, tossed in a fresh, spicy and flavorful gochujang sauce
  • This salad dressing is much thicker than the first
  • Do not add lettuce in this salad, as the lettuce will be coated with too much spicy dressing. Stick to the green onions!

Korean Lettuce Salad with Soy-Vinaigrette Sauce (Salad C)

  • This final salad is perfect for those who don't do spicy well
  • Its made from soy-sauce and should be a familiar taste
  • We will lighten the soy-sauce with water and add a touch of sweetness with sugar and honey
  • For this salad, we will use lettuce and green onions

Notes

  • If you can't make up your mind on the three, I would try the second first!
